It’s amazing to be able to read two daring war commanders as they transition into wise statesman. 

We must ensure our military officers and diplomatic leaders have this kind of wisdom and more importantly the power to act when the moment is right. 

The only purpose of war is to bring back peaceful relationships. 

This should be a must read for all USG leaders that deal with foreign policy and national security. 

We must make leaders that think like this.
